Why I want to meet ava will be good to herself
Ava is just so darn funky and I’d be blessed to get her know her better!

Because she’s a real cutie (and we should ensure that we never have a deficit of cuties in our lives).
On Boxing Day my then boyfriend and I decided to climb Mt Warning (Queensland). We left in the afternoon because at that time of year it is stinking hot, and you can’t do anything during the heat of the day. There was a path which we followed to the top. We watched the sun start to set and then started descending the mountain. Light was fading.
What we hadn’t realised was that this ‘path’ was just some darker stained rocks amidst the normal coloured ones. In the fading light this difference in colour was no longer visible. I am always one to panic in these situations because I can get lost crossing the road. I have no sense of direction. We ended up spending the night precariously perched on a narrow ledge.
I have two enduring memories of that night. One was a question from my boyfriend asking me if I had enough pillow. Where ‘pillow’ was a pile of litte stones he’d made me to rest my head on. And the other was sharing the water bottle, and how we were only to take one sip each so that it would last. Your instinct for self-preservation kicks in and you really really really want to drink the whole lot at once. It was so incredibly painful to stop at one sip. It’s like nothing I’ve known since.
p.s. I’ve just read on wikipedia that the park rangers now expressly forbid people from climbing it. I guess other folk weren’t as lucky as us, and didn’t come down.
